MEET THE HEART BEHIND THE WORK
Through a trauma-informed, somatic, and attachment-based lens, I support BIPOC and queer individuals and couples in tending to the wounds that live in the body and in relationship. My work centers those impacted by complex trauma and structural oppression — creating a space where all parts of you are honored, and healing becomes a return to your innate relational wisdom.
My name is Anastasia Gomes. I’m a licensed clinical social worker who is obsessed with relational healing
I was an anti-capitalist activist for many years doing work on structural oppression until I became aware of how these larger oppressions actually played out in my own relationship to myself and to others. Once I started to delve deeper I came to realize that for me - the main way I work to fight against capitalism these days is to work to support people in creating healthy relationships to self, others, and the earth. When we are supported, resourced, and loved, we are stronger and our communities are stronger.

My core mission is to help people create, improve, and maintain healthy relationship
My passion and purpose is supporting folks who have experienced intergenerational trauma and structural oppression to find healing in the context of relationship. Supporting folks to access their inherent relational wisdom is my calling in life. We do not need to “learn” to love and be loved. We have that knowing in our DNA. It’s how our ancestors survived. Therapy is about healing the parts of ourselves that learned to protect us when we or our ancestors were unsafe. When we come into relationship with those parts of us, learn to see them, accept them, and thank them, and even love them, we grow into our capacity to honor ourselves and to see and be seen by others.
Individual Therapy
This offering is for individuals who are feeling tired of hiding behind anxiety driven behaviors of codependency, self-sacrifice, and people-pleasing who want to learn to trust in their ability to be seen, loved, and show up fully in intimate relationships.
Relationship Therapy
This offering is for folks in relationship (couples, polycules, friends, family, etc.) who are struggling to access deeper intimacy and safety in relationship, and who are wanting to foster a secure attachment with themselves and others.
